Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Maryam Ghyabi-White to the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board

Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Maryam Ghyabi-White to the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board.

Ghyabi-White, of Ormond Beach, is Chief Executive Officer of Ghyabi Consulting and Management. She previously served on the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board and is a former member of the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Ghyabi-White is a member of the Suntrust Bank Board of Trustees, PACE Center for Girls Volusia-Flagler Board of Directors, Past Chair of Floridians for Better Transportation, Chair of the ISB Coalition and Past Chair of the Volusia County Association for Responsible Development. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
